Great project! I wonder if we can get this into EPEL or some other repository for wide RPM distribution?

Unfortunately, this project is relatively unmaintained because I no longer manage Solr in my current employment. Feel free to fork this project and work with repository admins to try and get this into their build process if you believe that is the best path for this work.
