The correct calculation method has been called "Jafari" in the app even though it isn't

Calculating the middle of the night is by finding the middle between the beginning of Maghrib and the beginning of Fajr. This isn't the default anymore in the pre-releases and has instead been called "Jafari" method. The method isn't Jafari though, it is the method of Ahlus Sunnati wal Jamaa'ah, please see this fatwaa:
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/67911
It reads: "If the sun sets at five o’clock and the adhan for Fajr is given at five o’clock, then midnight (or half way through the night) is eleven o’clock at night"
I used the name because another app was using the same names
I'm still investigating this

I've tried to find some more evidences for it.
Here is the explanation by a Hanafi:
https://islamqa.org/hanafi/seekersguidance-hanafi/107403/when-does-isha-time-end-and-is-it-disliked-to-pray-it-after-midnight/
"The night is legally considered to begin from the entrance of Maghrib time and last until the entrance of Fajr. The specific time of day this equates to would vary based on the time of year. Midnight (i.e. 12am) is perhaps the halfway point of the night in some places during some parts of the year, yet not in others.
When Is it Disliked to Pray Isha’? Thereafter, the jurists mention that it is permitted to pray
Isha up to the end of the first half of the night, and delaying it beyond that is disliked. For example, if Maghrib entered at 8pm, and Fajr at 4am, the middle of the night would be at 12am."
And here according to a Hanbali:
https://islamqa.org/hanbali/hanbalidisciples/154034/time-of-evening-and-morning-adhkar/
"The night begins at maghrib and ends at fajr. To determine the first and last part of the night, add the total hours between maghrib and fajr and divide in half."

What about islamweb?
Or is it inaccurate?
My conclusion is to remove the Labels of "Standard" and "Jafari", and also set the default calculation to sunset to fajr (please note that in most calculation methods, maghrib and sunset times are exactly the same, but in some others it's not)
this change has been applied in 5bfeda0
will be released with next rc (1.17.0-rc16) or stable release
(please note that in most calculation methods, maghrib and sunset times are exactly the same, but in some others it's not)
Can you modify adhan-js to add an option to adjust midnight?
I have already added midnight adjustment
Sorry...I didn't know that.
