Quick way to temporarily turn off azan

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatu -llāhi wa-barakātuh. I hope all of you are well. Recently, I've encountered a minor inconvenience related to the azan feature of the application. There have been instances where the azan unexpectedly plays while I'm in public spaces, causing it to be heard by those around me. This situation can sometimes feel awkward, particularly as I reside in a non-Muslim country where the sound of the azan is unfamiliar to most people. Similarly, when I have non-Muslim guests at my house, the azan's occurrence can create an unintended conflict with the circumstances mentioned earlier.
While I can navigate to the app settings and manually disable the azan, I find this approach somewhat cumbersome, especially since I occasionally forget to reactivate it later.
In light of this, I would greatly appreciate the addition of a user-friendly solution, such as a temporary mute button within the app or a persistent notification that offers the option to temporarily disable the azan. Another potential approach could involve using a specific gesture, like tapping the power button a certain number of times, to achieve the same outcome.
In conclusion, it would be immensely valuable if such a feature were implemented. Your efforts to incorporate a quick and convenient method to manage the azan's sound would be highly regarded.
Jazakum Allah Khyran, and may Allah reward you, fellow developers, for your exceptional work on this FOSS application. I wish you all a wonderful day ahead!
Wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh
are you aware that app sends an upcoming alarm notification that you can use to cancel upcoming adhan/reminder around 1 hour before it happens ?
also there's already a feature that you can enable in notifications & sound settings that will allow you to end adhan/reminder using volume buttons. in some cases it wasn't working as expected but I tried to add a fix in 1.17 for it as well.
Oh, I never knew of the cancel button in the notifications. Thank you! It's not really an hour before it happens, more like half an hour. (approximately) Is there a feature within the app that allows the phone to vibrate when it is prayer time? If such thing exists, it would be extremely helpful.
From what I remember it's exactly one hour, also you can configure the timing from advanced settings in the upcoming release
There's also a vibration feature, but it's not per prayer time yet
I'm still testing the new release, but if everything goes fine will release it soon
