Is there something wrong with my files?

Hi there!
I appreciate your amazing work!

Apparently I have an issue with the gcode generator.
I followed your guide to get the gcode for the example wing.stl model.
I had a few issues with the installation so, I'm not sure if everything is done in this area correctly.

So far the outcome is:.2x msh file (I assume the way the printer goes) + .csv with the numbers (coords?).

It seems like the last part of the process (merge to gcode) doesn't work in my case.
Can you, please, give me a hint, where should I look for an error?

Best,
Karol.

Hi,

Can you tell me which files are generated (to know where it did stop)?
Did you get any temporary gcode file or error message ?

Jimmy

Hi, thank you for your quick reply.

When I am trying the "Run" step - so I am typing the command "curvislice.bat models/wing.stl" - the outcome is: wing.msh, wing.msh, wing__sf.obj and wing__ (.csv). Actually they are 4 files, not 3.

Also I am not receiving any error message when the script is finished.
However, if I have a look on the script running - I can see some abnormalities - but I can't describe them because I don't have an access to this data (I can see it for like a 1/4 of a second).

So, I hope this describes better my problem. By the way I am trying the solution on Windows.

Thank you in advance!

Best,
Karol.

Hi KurolM,

I have been facing the same issue. Did you manage to resolve the problem.?
I managed to get a screenshot where I could see some errors occurring during the command run.

The "Printer has no profiles directory" may be because of the missing printer profile (curvi).
Have you done this step ?

Once installed, copy the folder "curvi" (in the /resources folder) into IceSL printer profiles folder ; on Windows this is %appdata%/IceSL/icesl-printers/fff/
