Special chars in folder names

When my SSH folders contain special characters (like ä, ö), their content is displays as absolutely nothing at all. But I know there are files there, and I can see them if I SSH in the Terminal. I can see the folder itselt, but not it's content.

The contents are displayed in Transmit. But not in Finder.

I also noticed problems with special characters (ä, ö) in folder and file names in the mounted path. When using Finder and entering a folder that contains folders or files with special character(s) the folders and files are shown a very little while and then they disappear quickly. OS X 10.8.2 & Macfusion 2.0.4.
