It would be great if you would be able to create ad-hoc Workitem where the time is cumulated or parked temporarily.
Background:
I have sometimes cases while working on specific workitem, I get ad-hoc requests to help or resolve something for other developers or analyst. This is also a very common in SME roles. Almost all cases, these SME ad-hoc requests, if taken more than 5 minutes or so, are future work items such as Bugs or Tasks(s) in TFS.
Proposal/Solution:
What would help on this specific case is the ability to create ad-hoc workitem in locally by use of TFS Working on tool, cumulate the time for this ad-hoc workitem and keep it local while the time is not parked to any TFS workitem(s).
When the corresponding workitem(s) is available then you could select the time period and park the selected time into TFS workitem, or you could delete the ad-hoc workitem when no longer needed.
Anyhow, I use your tool a lot and just love it. If you don’t have a time I could try to get some time for some of these weekends and extend this tool by this feature.
