XBMC crashes when starting live TV

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start MythBox plugin
2. Select 'Watch TV'
3. Select channel any channel (done off ATSC)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is to watch live television. Instead, the live broadcast
flashes with sound for about 1/2 a second, then XBMC completely crashes.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version:
MythBox 1.0.4
XBMC 10.1, from team xbmc repository
Operating System:
Ubuntu 10.10, amd64.
Please provide any additional information below.
Crash log and NVIDIA settings screenshot attached. Compositing is disabled.

Forgot to add that this happens occasionally, probably 15% of the time.

MythBox hands off livetv playing to XBMC (see
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=MythTV). Please reproduce w/o using MythBox (using
XBMC's built-in myth:// protocol support) and post to XBMC's bug tracker.
