When running
$ repo sync
for the first time, I get:
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
Server does not provide clone.bundle; ignoring.
for each ?project?
What does this mean? Is it negatively affecting the download?

Seems to be a good summary. In this case, with sufficient intensity of focus, the error message can be ignored, if a person has that power.
