Issue and Steps to Reproduce
Describe your issue and tell us how to reproduce it.
While deploying a new version, it looks like NSClient is not "upgrading" the version and keeping the current config, but it does replace to a fresh install.
Expected Behavior
If there is a current installation, NSClient should not replace the nsclient.ini config file.
Actual Behavior
NSClient is doing like a fresh install and overwritten the current nsclient.ini config file.
Details
- NSClient++ version: 0.5.2.39 (upgrade) 0.5.2.35 (current/old version)
- OS and Version: Windows Server 2012
- NSCP-0.5.2.39-x64.msi
- I tried researching for this everywhere but did not find a command of something to be used to solve this.
