In IP Restrictions page, “Allow Unlisted” switch won’t take effect on applicationhost.config or web.config immediately. The change will take effect if you change any other attributes in "General" tab of this Page.

For example,

  1. “Allow unlisted” is ON by default.
  2. Turn it off, applicationhost.config won’t change.
  3. Then Change the “Proxy Mode” switch.
  4. Applicationhost.config will change for both Proxy “Mode switch” and “Allow unlisted”. And the change is correct.

Change "Allow Unlisted" switch won't take effect on applicationhost.config or web.config.

Unless you change something here, then the change of “Allow Unlisted” switch will take effect.
