How to make R script run in interactive window and result displayed in console like in R Studio ?

It looks like I can only run code in the R interactive window and result also showed in the R interactive window. How can I do it similar to R studio where code runs in one window and result displayed in the console window. I am sure it's simple but I can't make it even after I reset the import/export settings and set it to Data Science with R studio short cut.
