TouchDevelop Local Installation Guide

I have TD local, and can run it using jake local. However if I want to export to Cordova, I first need to publish the script - which I can't unless the TD site is active. Can you give us detailed instructions on how to do this before TD ceases to exist in May. Thanks.
Looking through the files in the repo, it looks like changes have to be made to "app.ts" so that TD know it is running locally and therefore publishes locally. I assume there will also be changes required to export the published app as well.
The instruction on git on how to do this are too vague so any help will be very much appreciated.
