Service Now - Approval and Check Custom Extension

I am looking at amending this Service Now extension for usage within my company's Azure Devops. How do I ensure that the extension keeps the "Approval and Checks" Service Now Management. When I upload my own version, it does not keep the "Approvals and Checks" part.
