Image attachments are coming in duplicated

It seems that every image attachment from an email is being added twice. It might be related to the way the email from Outlook client is encoded in multiple formats or something, and mail2bug is grabbing from all formats?
Can the attachments be de-duped by binary hash or something before being attached?

more than twice - I added an inline image to a thread and then replied multiple times. On each reply, the inline image was added again to the bug
