I want to use malmo but I cant get it to start I have tryed everything help

I had to setup Malmo on Ubuntu 20.04 for a project at work and documented my solution here: https://gist.github.com/dpaetzel/af0b0f48998e5b6855c3c06ae16c0422 Maybe it is of use to you 🙂

While I did manage to set it up in the end, it sure seems as if the project is dead, at least for GNU/Linux users …

Anyone know why it died? @dpaetzel were you able to successfully run agents in Minecraft still? If it works that's good enough.

I was able to run at least one of the demo missions (I didn't try them all, though). Also, two students are currently using my Malmo setup to write Minecraft agents and that seems to work so far.
