Archiving PerfViewJS

Opened this issue · 0 comments

As you may have noticed, PerfViewJS has not received much attention lately. We've been discussing the future of PerfViewJS and believe that we want to go in a different direction. At this point we don't have new plan, but know we don't want to continue with PerfViewJS in its current form. We are archiving the repo today and will no longer be investing in PerfViewJS.

There has been a small community of contributors on this repo. Thank you for your help and insight. It's been appreciated. On that note, if anyone wants to take over the project, we'd be happy to help you do that.

While there isn't a feature-for-feature replacement, we recommend looking into cross-platform workflows such as dotnet-trace and dotnet-trace convert to capture and view tracing data on non-Windows platforms.
