Rubygems dependency artificually high

While not reflected in github, the gemspec for 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 specifies a dependency on rubygems 1.3.7. Engine Yard has yet to roll out 1.3.7 on their platform so we are unable to upgrade to newer versions of your gem. Is there something specific in 1.3.7 that your gem depends on? The gem should declare the lowest known version of rubygems that the gem is compatible with.
