MAIL_USERNAME and MAIL_PASSWORD not parsed in?

I have these environment variables in Window 7, but somehow during runtime they are still null?

Did you try reading these env vars in a Python session? Or in the command prompt?

This seems something more appropriate to ask in stack overflow, it does not look like the problem is related to the code in this repository.
