Lintian reports:

W: nbis: duplicate-changelog-files usr/share/doc/nbis/CHANGELOG.txt.gz usr/share/doc/nbis/changelog.gz

See http://lintian.debian.org/tags/duplicate-changelog-files.html

The lintian error was resolved by changing the filename of the upstream CHANGELOG.txt and removing it from the listing in debian/docs, but that's just a short-term fix. Long-term, we want to figure out how to include this changelog in the package, so we'll keep this issue open.

Hi, i just had the same problem, it seems debian packaging automatically grabs it from the root folder so it just shouldn't be included in the debian/docs file, that's all. Leave it in the root as CHANGELOG.txt and it should still appear in the docs folder after. Worked for me anyway. If your happy to have it renamed and it's not appearing in the docs folder after, just put upstream-changelog.txt in your docs file now.

Thanks for the note -- glad to hear I'm not the only one that's run into
this.
