normalized and denormalized pg dependency

I had all my pg_denormalized test cases passed before starting the normalized inserting. I thought there's no dependency between the two separate dbs.
However, after getting my normalized test cases passed, 4 of my denormalized testcases failed. I am trying to debug this and
wonder what might be the cause of this?
