You guy's have been great at helping us use the smarthome nodes, but could you consider adding an examples folder to the repo, where very simple flows could be stored to help users understand how the flows should be constructed in their most basic form, including the input msg format & the device node properties.
The examples folder is very commonly used by contrib node authors, and provides an easy route into using a node, which would otherwise probably end up as a git issue support request - "I can't use the sensor..." etc, or finding a different contrib node to use.

I've just submitted a PR for a simple example to consider.
Of course other examples are not quite as easy as the light traits!
