Library doesn't handle unconventional ordered lists

About this issue

The library only handles ordered lists with numbers that are correctly ordered. Such as
1.
2.
3.

If you try to do a valid ordered list like
1.
1.
1.
instead of the expected output of
1.
2.
3.

you get the same output as put in.
