I pushed a new branch v0.2.x, which is currently identical to master. Anything related to the upcoming release and bug fixes should go into this branch, while further development of features or fundamental changes for v0.3 should go into master.
Feel free to discuss this branching model. As a result it would be nice to put this information into the readme file as well.
