I don't even really understand what's happening here, please let me know what info or files I can provide to help figure out this glitch.

This is an age-old bug with unfortunate horizontal resolution values. I don't know if it would be possible to make any value just work or should the UI round the value to a workable one before applying.

Affects MacOS Cocoa also.

So this only happens at certain custom resolutions and can be circumvented by entering a different or preset one?

to get around it I used 948x500 resolution instead, it is close enough to cover my screen with only a few pixels margin at the sides. I haven't tried other resolutions, I just happened to run into this while fine-tuning the window size to cover my desktop.

side note: I wish there was a 1.5x or 1.25x scale. on a 1080p display 1x is too small and 2x cuts off too many columns unless you make the window itself cover the whole screen.
