Create a Makefile over using xc

XC is a fine tool but Makefile will be just fine, nothing fancy going on here and will be one less tool to install.
- Remove xc section of readme
- Create a Makefile
- Create a "help" recipe that is also the default that outputs all the recipes
- Update contributing guide
