Unknown field "Extra" in Table tool/Attributes

There is an unknown field "Extra" in Table tool/Attributes.
It is not mentioned in the manual, and (at least in my models) it cannot be edited, it is always empty.
What is it good for and how to use it?
Please remove it if it is no used any longer.

This is indeed an uncomplete documentation issue. The extra information is used for MySQL dialects etc, where columns can be auto incremented without the need auf auxiliary sequences. Postgres dialect does not support the extra information, hence it is grayed out.

Of course it would be better to not display the attribute at all if the underlying dialect does not support it.

one the options:

• not to display unsupported attributes
• supplement the documentation
  would be fine, but there is no hurry of course
