The dependencies required for this plugin to be installed are not specified in the README or anywhere in the project documentation that I can find.
Explicitly defined, these are the minimum set of dependencies that I found I need to install (via apt) for the installation of this plugin to work (may vary per system):
apt install vagrant ruby-dev build-essential libxml2-dev zlib1g-dev libcurl4-gnutls-dev
Some of these such as vagrant (obviously) could be expected to be on the installers system but not all of them. I think it's important that this information be added to the document somewhere rather prominently.
