npm WARN mobx-react@4.3.3 requires a peer of react@^0.13.0 || ^0.14.0 || ^15.0.0 || ^16.0.0 but none was installed.
npm WARN react-native-search-filter@0.1.1 requires a peer of react-native@^0.41.2 but none was installed.

Error..plugin not working for the latest react-native 0.49.3

Now tested on rn@v0.49.3. Please try the new example. You can also check a9db470 for the changes.
