As an active keyboard user I would like to have the default button pre-focused and unique mnemonics so that I can access all features without using the mouse

This effects all dialogs. We have mnemonic collisions (same character used for multiple components on the same form) and no default button. OK should be fine to be the default since the operations are mostly idempotent except the export dialog.
