It would be nice if one could add templates like e.g. https://github.com/geraldolsribeiro/microci_arc42 (arc42 documentation template).

Definitely 🙂 I was also thinking about adding a sections with real-world sites built with MkDocs, called something like "Projects and websites". Feel free to send a PR with such a new category!
