Version Of Edge Store out !

Since now edge chromium is out since some time, and this extension is MIT i have posted it on the Edge Store

The Developer page and report are linked to this repository and the version published is exactly the same as the one on chrome.

Edit, i won't do any modifications and only publish chrome versions when they are updated, and for those who use it if there are bug on edge @mlgualtieri can refuse to patch them.

I would prefer that people install the Chrome extension into Edge if they want to use it, and Edge supports this functionality.

If people want to use the plugin @Macqael deployed to the Edge store, I have no problem with it, but it's not an official release and not supported at this time.

Note to user who will use it on edge store :
Actually if i have posted it it's for two reason :

  • 1st if Edge user use chrome extension on chrome store, they will loose the uninstallation flags, that can send a store if they detect a malware in one extension (and i'm not sure google will send it to Edge and help his Competitor so i prefer be safe than sorry).

  • 2nd if Edge Store gain user it will heavily reduce the power that have Google on Chromium browser because if they push somthing to much unacceptable dev can change to Edge Store (if it's really unacceptable), for instance a manifest v4 who forbid the adblocker (since the v3 go in this way (for the V4 it's only a speculation form me no proof nor rumor)).

Like i said i don't do any modification so it must work the same, i only propose to maintain update to some dev, like that they don't have to open a Microsoft dev account only for one extension ^^.

NB : event if it's MIT if @mlgualtieri ask me too remove it for some reason (buggy or anything else), il will comply to his request.

For those who don't trust me you can check the code is the same in your file (Windows)
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\YOURPROFILENUMBER\Extensions
You will see all installed extension and you can check the code isn't altered by me (microsoft add file to verify/sign the extension)
