Running on a Mac, is there a way to work with Ring's two factor?

I downloaded .net core 7 and can within Mac OS terminal run dotnet --version and it shows 7.0.36 but when I run it says "The build failed. Fix the build errors and run again." Is this because of the two factor My ring account has two factor enabled and apparently there is not a way to downgrade or remove or make an app password that I know of? Is there a way to get this to work with two factor
