Add an option to exclude highlighting in comments

When I double click a word, it's to see where it is actually used in the code. 
And sometimes it is mentionned in comments, and maybe not everyone wants to 
have this highlighted.

Would it be possible to add an option letting the user choose if (s)he wants to 
have highlights in comments ?
