Not sure why, but the scraper window will sometimes disappear. It is not visible, but is still accessible from the Window menu (on Mac).
Perhaps a size of 0,0 is being saved to the settings, in which case a minimum size should at least be used.

Window now created with a minimum size. Closed by 1424308.
Highlighter now selects correct element. Inadvertantly revealed deeper xpath bug so reworked that entire mechanism. Closed by 1424308.
Added 'reload detection' to popup for users upon first install. Closed by 1424308.
Updated version to 1.2 since fixes some bugs.
