Show a loading animation when switching to another account in app

Hi, I have a request for Modrinth launcher. Can we add some kind of a loading animation when switching between accounts?

When I tap on another account in the account-switcher dropdown, it changes the name to selected account at the same time, but the account picture doesn't change. If I launch an instance at the same time (within 3-5 seconds), it launches with previous account, not the selected one. If I wait for 8-10 seconds, and then launch the instance, it changes account picture to selected account, and instance has correct account now.

Why not just add a loading animation there? its been like this for months, every update I hope you will fix it, but it stays same.

Describe the solution you'd like

Show a loading animation when switching profiles if there's something in progress behind the scenes. Optionally, disable instance launch until the account switcher has finished switching.

Or somehow cache all account sessions everyday in hope that switching accounts can be instant. But, it feels like this might not be possible because otherwise you would have already done it.
