Undocking the viewer from its default position crashes NotePad++

I have multiple monitors and just installed the plugin. Since I use vertical monitors, I want to display the markdown viewer on my vertical monitor full screen. I noticed that when I drag the viewer panel outside of Notepad++, even on the same monitor, or another, (it's irrelevant) it works, but then after a few seconds or when you click on the viewer to select any text or focus on it, Notepad++ freezes entirely. I can replicate this over and over again, eventually Windows shows a dialog that the program is not responding, and you have to force it to shut down.
Once you open it again, the markdown preview window automatically is back to the default position. It seems it doesn't like to be moved out of notepad, which is a dealbreaker since you can't change the default position. (or maybe you can..?)
Plugin works fine if you just leave it on the default position and never crashes buts it's impossible to read like this on a vertical monitor with limited width since the only position for the panel if on the side and not bottom or up.
Is this a bug or it's not supported in Notepad++ for the plugin to drag the viewer out NotePad++?
If this is not actually supported, and you can only use the preview window in the default position, then it would be useful to be able to move the window from its default position. I have no other plugins installed and running the latest Notepad++ version.
