Bug Description

The mcp server on smithery cannot connect.

Thanks for opening this issue. The ticket MCP-182 was created for internal tracking.

Thank you for reporting this @FilippTrigub. Are you seeing an error message when starting the server?

Could you describe at what point the issue occurs and how?

Cannot establish connection with it. No further error message.

Even without connection the server does not list tools.

I have built and deployed some on smithery myself. This looks like a config problem.

Of course, should others be able to use it and it's just me, then it's more confusing.

Ps: the server itself works, if running it locally.

Got it, thank you. It does look like there's some misconfiguration there that we will look into.
We originally added the MCP server to smithery when it was only providing a way to run the server locally and their recent updates for Remote support broke the synchronization with our deployments.

Hey! We investigated further and are not going to support smithery as their changed system does not fit the way our MCP Server works and can encourage bad practices (such as storing your database credentials externally).
We removed it from current documentation and will likely remove our listing in the future.
