Hey @DmitriyShepelev , thanks for raising your question.

What are you expecting from a Remote MongoDB MCP Server? Are you looking for something integrated in Atlas or an MCP Server that can be hosted in your own infrastructure remotely?

For the former, there are plans, but we are still on early stages and we don't expect to have something in the shortest term. For the later, this is already possible using the HTTP Transport.

Connecting a MongoDB instance to OpenAI Responses API (similar to the Github remote MCP server) would be simpler. Hosting an MCP server yourself requires a lot of maintenance.
