Missing VI mode

Hi all,
I have found that Monodevelop 7.8.4 is missing the VI mode.
For earlier versions it has been documented in https://www.monodevelop.com/archived/developers/tasks/source-editing/vi-mode/.
Has it been abandoned for some reason? Was this a mistake?
Anyways, I would very much appreciate if you could re-enable it again.
