helper-takeissue

  1. Helper goes to homepage of app and views queue of open issues. Helper selects issue by tapping on it.
  2. Chat screen for issue opens up. Helper can read the full text of the issue.
  3. If Helper decides to answer question she taps "Take Issue" at bottom of chat window.
  4. In chat window "Take Issue" is replaced with the standard text entry field and "Send" button for Helper to start chatting with Consumer.

Questions/Comments:
*Wondering if "Take Issue" is ideal wording for if we should use "Answer Request" instead?
*Instead of Consumer's name as typical in chat apps, let's just use the time stamp and up to two-lines of the text the Consumer has inputted.

  • agree.Take issue is too formal..Answer request is as well pretty formal. Maybe just Take or Answer?

I like "Take" or "Answer." We could also do "Help this person!" or "Help now." It might be safer since the community member might not know if they really do have the answer. We can test several options and see what sticks. Overall I like the idea of keeping the tone informal and inviting.
