Search input isn't detected by Firefox One-Click Search Engines

Step to reproduce

1. Go to https://dxr.mozilla.org
2. Click inside the search input so it is focused
3. Click on the Page Action (three dots icon) in Firefox URL bar

Actual behavior

Firefox doesn't show the option "Add Search Engine"

Expected behavior

Firefox should show the option to add DXR as a search engine.

Notes

I think Firefox can't detect the input because it's a type=text instead of a type=search.
