Firefox Multi-Account Containers does not show icon in Firefox Browser 119.0 (64-bit) from Flathub

Before submitting a bug report

  • I updated to the latest version of Multi-Account Container and tested if I can reproduce the issue
  • I searched for existing reports to see if it hasn't already been reported

Step to reproduce

Debian 12 clean install.

Install Firefox from Flathub

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux#w_install-from-flatpak

Install the browser extension 'Firefox Multi-Account Containers' via Firefox extension manager.

Actual behavior

Icon 'Always open container in a Container' is visible in search field.

Icon 'Multi-Account container' is not visible in toolbar area and not visible in customize toolbar as an icon either.

Expected behavior

Icon 'Multi-Account container' should be visible in toolbar area to manage and open new containers, on right side of search area.

Firefox implemented a new menu for extensions. The right Multi-Account Containers icon is probably hidden in it. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/extensions-button.

The Extension menu button looks like this
