11.0.0 tap on task from widget does not select in app

EdJoJob opened this issue · 5 comments

Before 11.0.0 if I tapped a task from the widget I would be brought into the app with the filter from the widget applied, and the task I tapped selected for me to action with the bottom bar.

Now I am brought into the app with the app default filter (i.e. the one that is the default for a new installation) with no task selected.

@EdJoJob I have noticed this as well. Not quite sure what is causing it though.

I just found that tapping the header of the widget will bring me to the filtered view, even though taping on a task brings be to an unfiltered view

When going to the unfiltered view, the filtering is permanently reset as well, so you have to redo your filters the next time you open the app through clicking its icon

Workaround for that is to save your frequently used filters in the right drawer.

@EdJoJob, nice find: good to know there is a work-around in clicking on the header.

@mpcjanssen, I just ran into this somewhat annoying issue the other day. I could take a crack at fixing the breakage, and submitting a PR, if you have any hints about where to start looking?
