Pod.pm: probably outdated documentation on parameters

I've been looking through documentation and there seems to be a list of parameters for the POD module. But it seems there are no appearances of those in the actual source code. Neither they seem to actually do anything when passed to po4a-translate -o.
Are the docs outdated/incorrect or am I missing something?
