Dead installer and....

Sorry first off. You guys have done an amazing job over the years with Engineer, however this MS Issue is going to need some extra work to get around the install / running issues.
Ive downloaded the installer and the EXE will not run past the initialiser. Ive gone through MS Defender, Comodo looking for blocked access problems because of them, nothing came to light.
Ive tried installing the older version and that works fine except the update isnt in. I tried pasting the new version over the old one to update it physically and it wouldnt run apart from one occasion right after a reboot, loaded to the main screen and then locked. So only option for now is to use the older version and await the corrections.
If this program is the same in construction and library usage as the others, I cant see why it wont work, unless either your Construct is out of date / unlicensed (not pirated, Ive had MS apps reset to unregistered state recently) or just a packagiung issue .
I dont know if any of this is going to help you out, but I hope so.
Smartscreen isnt the answer
Killing the Smartscreen allows the program to install however couple of other issues.
- Taskbar icon is missing so it isnt able to be started.
- Shortcut desktop icon is missing
- Start Menu item is missing. (Manually created a shortcut out of main folder)
- MS Signiature needed to make the program start in the install phase, (number of times ive put up with this)
- Comodo found same paranoia invoked messaging errors .
- Windows Defender turned off completely now.
And so with the signiature issue being the top dog, good luck getting it to run on Win 11 where a TMA is needed just to get the OS to load / run.
