New maintainers needed for ftp in node

This project looks dead and hasn’t had any contact or update in 7 years.
Would it make sense to start a new ftp project forking this? It would need some volunteers. If anyone is interested in being part of that please comment.
There are already some older forks which can be a good starting point.
