Is two way sync supported?

I have this plugin connected to my Nextcloud address books and I was wondering whether changes on roundcube will eventually be synchronised back to NC's carddav server?
Yes, actually the changes will be done directly on the server side and then synced back to roundcube. The database in roundcube is mostly a cache, it does not change independently of the server.
Hm, I am not sure I understand correctly or maybe I phrased my question wrong. I did the following.
- Connect my roundcube via your plugin to my nextcloud contacts
- Sync everything
- Contact Arla appears on roundcube
- Change contact Arla to Arlaaaa on roundcube
- Force sync in the plugin settings
- Check nextcloud -> Arla
- Check roundcube -> Arla
Am I missing something?
Sounds like the update is not working. You don’t have to sync manually after changing something, it should happen as part of the process of saving the change.
Do you get an error message when saving? Can you check the logs (roundcube_dir/logs/carddav*.log)? Btw, which version of rcmcarddav do you use?
Never mind, this was totally my fault. I changed firstname but there was still a differnt display name set for the contact. Works like intended. Thanks for the plugin and your help!
