Support for custom date fields

Some other programs (e.g. Google Contacts, or the Cardbook add-on for Thunderbird) allow adding custom date fields (with custom labels) to contacts. These seem to get stored as
item1.X-ABDATE:<date>
item1.X-ABLabel:<custom label>
It'd be nice if the CardDAV plugin could support those, too.
