Configuration not changing anything

Hi,
I've used the frontail log of openHAB on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ for a while, which always looked like this:

Now as I completely renewed the Raspberry software and reinstalled the frontail log, it looks like this...

and no matter what I change in the configuration file, nothing changes.

What's the reason for this?

Ok, it was not the issue of frontail, rather the OS did not configure frontail the right way.
