Automated Workflow for PROMS

1.CRS entered the patient in one of the registries ( using some sort of criteria for referral) – eg CRC used for any patient w gut related issue
2. PROMs sent to all created patients automatically once patient set up is completed. The actual gut diagnosis (cancer/benign/ something else) is immaterial so long as it is gut related. The actual diagnosis can’t be confirmed until some time later so we are relying on CRS making an appropriate selection of the registry type
3. Automatic follow/up PROMs are sent to all patients within the system as per the schedule
PROMS are filled in by the patient at all relevant time points.
4. Clinicians will then be able to find the patient by name /umrn and examine their PROMs over time with the visualisation tools
5. Any clinician keen to include clinical data will have to find a way of that being manually entered currently. Efforts to find integrations and complete these fields through pulling data from another collection point will continue (either by us if we are still working on this or by HSS once we are no longer involved)
6. Once diagnosis is available in webPAS/HIH (this could take some time for identification and then uploading to webPAS) this will be pulled into CICIS.
7. Sites/DoH can then make comparisons between PROMs results for cancer patients and those with other (eg gut) conditions.
